Check out this very popular exhibit for a $1,499 3D printer that claims to have better resolution, larger printing area, smaller footprint than the lowest cost Dimension printer at about 10% of the price (and no messy support material!).  I found and bought a better and cheaper one than this, contact me if you are interested.
