Below are the topics discussed and links to various resources regarding our recent Yakima SolidWorks Users Group Meeting. 

SUMMER MEETING 2015: We had an interesting and informative with Avelino Rochino who presented on “Preparing to take the CSWP Core exam”.  Avelino Rochino is a member of the SolidWorks Certification Team and is responsible for customer and VAR employee testing.  He has also provided vouchers for the various certification exams starting with the Associate (CSWA), to the various Professional exams (CSWP) at the following link: CSWP Pacific Northwest Free Vouchers and for his presentation you can find the pdf document of his Power Point presentation here: Tips and Tricks to Prepare for the CSWP Exam.     After a short break he was followed by Chris Scarlett who presented on: “SolidWorks, MakerBot and Invention” – “Exploring Various Methods for Bridging the Gaps Between Concept, Design and Prototypes then finding a partner for Manufacturing, Marketing, Distribution and the eventual Licensing Agreement”.  Chris shared the journey of two projects - the “Picture Pin” and the “Cord Wrap” and where they are at in the process.
