SUMMER/FALL MEETING 2015: We had a great meeting recently with SolidWork's CEO, Gian Paulo Bassi and Richard Doyle our Users Group leader. About 25 people were in attendance at Yakima Maker Space.  Gian Paulo described his vision on how the company will evolve embracing current trends toward cloud applications, new assembly modeling techniques and ease of use. Of course, Richard's presentation, reaching into his bag of Tips and Tricks, is always entertaining and informative.  It was not as hot this time, but a bit smoky outside.

We gave a WARM and smoky welcome to SolidWorks CEO - Gian Paulo Bassi.

Mr. Bassi shared his vision on what SolidWorks is now and where the company is headed including cloud based collaborative design tools as well as continuing to enhance the core product.

I was told by a few members of our group that they really appreciated the information that he was sharing and felt his presentation was very informative.

 
Richard Doyle shared some new and interesting Tips and Tricks that are new to SW 2015.
