FALL MEETING 2015: We had a great meeting recently with a visit from one of SolidWork’s go getters - Rachel York who is the “Community & User Advocacy Manager” at SolidWorks.  She discussed her roll working with the online forums including the My SolidWorks community, the SolidWorks Forum the her roll with the various users groups.  She also presented her recent SolidWorks World Presentation on "Drawing Views".  This was an excellent presentation which included everything from the what a beginner might need to know all the way up to many advanced functions.  Her presentation was very informative and engaging.  To download her presentation and accompanying models please click here:  SolidWorks Drawing Views.  Chris Scarlett also provided a short presentation from a recent project he had been on working on demonstrating an approach to the Vent Fastener Feature.  He show us how, by using three rather obscure tools together (the Segment Sketch Tool, the Ordinate Dimension and the Vent Fastener Feature), you can create a quick and easy vent.  Models are available, please make contact.
