Video 204. Online SolidWorks - 28 - Creating an Assembly – The Hammer - Mating the Handle and Head.
In this video you will learn the basics regarding SolidWorks Assemblies by putting together two SolidWorks parts, a hammer handle and a hammer head.  You’ll learn how to start a new file and insert your first part while covering best practices and fixing it to the Origin.  The second part, the Hammer Head will be inserted and Mated 3 times to fully define it.  Lastly you’ll learn how to make modifications to your parts to ensure everything’s fits perfectly in this virtual world.  All of this along with some tips, tricks and traps.

Video 205. Online SolidWorks - 29 - An Assembly That Moves – Sarrus Mechanism - More Assembly Technique.
In this video you will learn more about assemblies and mates and various techniques to putting it all together.  We will also discuss part degrees of freedom (6 of them), inserting a multi configuration part, "Select Other" option, Mates Folders, dragging common edges of parts into the assembly for quick mates and more.

Video 206.  Online SolidWorks - 30 - Part Configurations – Short Tour – Sarrus Hinge Plate - Part in a Part.
Its like a Part Within a Part.  In this video you will see how to create different SolidWorks part configurations using your Sarrus Mechanism Hinge Plate part model.  With a lot of shared geometry, there is no need to create different parts.  Instead, with hinge elements on all 4 sides of the part we will cut portions of those elements from the model then suppress or unsuppress these features for each configuration we create.
