School Building
Design 0100 set up a middle school after school program in Yakima for 6th and 7th graders on how to model in 3 dimensions using SolidWorks. SolidWorks graciously donated 15 seats of the Educational Version for the computer lab. For this project, the students measured out one of the existing school buildings and individually modeled it as a class project. Then the students modeled their own furnishings and equipment in and around the building such as desks, chairs, doors, windows and playground equipment then shared their models with each other for inclusion into each of their designs.
